Determining
the value of an item can be challenging and influenced by many factors
in the market place; being quoted a dollar value can some times be very
frustrating especially when you think it is worth much more. What price
you would like for an item can be quite different from what a buyer is
willingly to pay. However, there are exceptions depending on the item;
is it a high end collectable, antique or something that is in demand.
The
condition of the item is important. Definitely items in excellent and
clean condition can fetch more than items that are not.
Understanding
the different markets locally, nationally and internationally can help
determine where to get the best monetary value. From our experience not
everyone can understand those markets without help and it becomes a
career learning them.
